Oyo: Security agents kill suspected gang leader, Gbolagade
A suspected gang leader terrorising some parts of Oke Ogun geo-political zone in Oyo state has been killed, Track news reports.
The gang leader whose identity was given as Musliudeen Mudasiru Gbolagade was shot in Iseyin on Monday.
He was shot by a combined security team on Monday morning.
The gang leader, according to sources, was feared by the people of Isalu, where he reigned as a leading thug, collecting rents from shop owners, landlords and business owners.
It was learnt that the gang leader has been fingered in many criminal activities in the area.
He was reported to have shot at one of the security men before he was shot by the security team on Monday.
It was gathered that the corpse of the suspect has been deposited at the Oketapemo Police station in Iseyin.
Oyo State Commandant of Western Nigeria Security Network (WNSN) also known as Amotekun, Olayinka Olayanju confirmed the development to Track news on Tuesday.
Olayanju said, “True. Yesterday. You can ask the police. They will be able to give you detailed information.”
