The Permanent Secretary while commending Governor Douye Diri for his commitment in opening up the various riverine communities with roads such as the the three senatorial roads and other critical infrastructures, encouraged Bayelsans to continue their support for the prosperity government.
“This government is committed to opening up the riverine areas of the state, because Bayelsa is basically riverine. Talking about the Three Senatorial roads as far as I can remember, it takes a leader with the political will to take on these, and that is what this administration is doing.
From our allocation and resources, we are funding the projects and that’s our obligation to the people and the contractors.
I encourage all of us Bayelsans to support him, so that he can deliver on these projects,” Mr. Wodu stated.
Also at the Transparency Briefing were the Director-General, New Media, Dr. Kola Samuel Kolawole Oredipe, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Information, Orientation and Strategy, Mr. Ifiemeya Anthony Borisei and the Director of Treasury, Ministry of Finance, Mr. Carl Madawa.
