Neymar Sends Private Messages To Brazil Teammates In Qatar 2022

In an attempt to debunk claims of a squad split, Neymar has posted messages he sent to his Brazil teammates following their shock World Cup exit to Croatia.
Brazil lost 4-2 on penalties in Qatar after a 1-1 tie after extra time against Croatia, with Marquinhos and Rodrygo missing crucial spot kicks.
And Neymar, who scored in extra time to tie Pele for the most goals in Brazilian history, shared his interactions with Marquinhos, Rodrygo, and veteran Thiago Silva following their elimination despite not having their permission.
Neymar has been vocal on social media since Brazil’s elimination. He posted an emotional message over the weekend, saying he was psychologically destroyed by the loss to Croatia, and had previously responded to Tite critics by saying “don’t talk s***.”
“The decision to reveal the chats (without permission) was made to show how much we wanted (to win the World Cup) and how united we were,” Neymar explained on his Instagram story.
“I am proud to be Brazilian, and I love my country!”
