Niger Delta Ex-Militants Threaten to Join and Make More Attacks on oil firms in the Region over nonpayment of Stipends for 11 Months

A group of Niger delta EX-MILITANTS who are part and Beneficiaries of the Second and Third phase of the Niger Delta presidential amnesty programme. The group in a statement made available to TracKnews by it’s spokesman General Peter Ebiowei said, they have decided to join other Unrepentant Militants to cripple oil production activities as a protest over NON-PAYMENT for their Stipends for 11months now, after series of complaints to the Special Adviser to President on Niger Delta/ Coordinator of the Amnesty Programme, Professor Charles Dokubo, who deliberately ignored several write up as peaceful approach by well meaning people of the group, but all to no avail.

The Threat is coming barely few days after a major attacks was launched against Coneoil facilities by unknown Unrepentant Militants in Koluama Clan, Southern Ijaw Local government Area of Bayelsa state as a warning to the Federal government of Nigeria.

General Peter Ebiowei further stated that “We can no longer meet up with our families for the past 11 months as we have the Stipends as our only means of survival. We may have no option than to join the unrepentant militants as we also have the capacity to do the same as others had started attacks on oil facilities. We give Dokubo one week ultimatum and Federal government should hold Dokubo Responsible if we do anything stupid because we are ready to die for what rightly belongs to us, we shall never beg for our right anymore”

We are awear of the plans by Dokubo and his KALABARI brothers who he employed in the amnesty office planning to delete us and put fake people who are not beneficiaries of the programme. But we’ll prove Dokubo wrong that our Camps in the programme remain the barracks , and himself and his KALABARI brothers who he employed in the amnesty office are the Soldiers that will always come and go. He can not try us because we are ready to do anything to join Unrepentant Militants because we have every documents from Disarmament point to bank details from the beginning of the programme till date. We are using this medium to advise President Mohamadu Buhari to Sack Proffesor Charles Dokubo now because he has failed for the assignment given to him, instead of Dokubo to maintain the already existing peace he came to meet in the office, he had only came to changes to collect people slots in the programme.

We also want to remind Professor Dokubo that the same youths he is suffering today were the ones that delivered President Buhari in 2015 and in our recent meetings we have concluded on how to deliver Buhari in this forthcoming Presidential election. When we were busy mobilizing our boy’s and family members in 2015, DOKUBO and his KALABARI brothers were in Abroad enjoying themselves.
