Nigeria @ 62: “We can’t write off our nation” – Sen. Cleopas

Sen. Cleopas Moses Zuwoghe, the legislator representing the Bayelsa Central Senatorial District, has said that we cannot write off Nigeria because of the problems plaguing the country, the TrackNews Nigeria reports.
This is contained in a statement signed personally by him and released exclusive to TrackNews Nigeria during the weekend to jubilate over the Independence Day celebration of the nation and the twenty-six year of creation of the Bayelsa State.
Part of the statement reads: “We have had challenges that threatened the peaceful co-existence to achieve the dreams and aspirations of our founding fathers of the hope of a great and prosperous Nation that provides equal opportunities for her citizens, regardless of tribe, language, political affiliations and differences in religious beliefs.
However, we can’t write off our Nation because of the daunting challenges we are faced with daily. Our faith in our Country must remain intact as the greatness we all desire is a good responsibility of all Nigerians. We are a Country bound in freedom, peace and unity hence must stand as one indivisible entity.”
The Principal of His Will Political Family Worldwide added that: “I therefore, congratulate the good people of Bayelsa Central Senatorial District and all Bayelsans in their enormous contributions and sacrifices towards the development of of a great and prosperous Nigeria.
I urge all Bayelsans and residents to support our Leader, Sen. Douye Diri, the Executive Governor of Bayelsa State who is working assiduously to see the State develop to woo investors to create all manner of opportunities for all to benefit.”
“In this same vein, our dear President, His Excellency, Mohamadu Buhari, GCFR, needs our prayers and support to finish strong in the remaining days in office. Once again, congratulation and happy anniversary to everyone,” he said.
