Nigeria Immigration Service gets new spokesperson
TRACKING____The Nigeria Immigration Service, NIS, has appointed Mr Amos Okpu, as the service’s new Public Relations Officer.
NIS Controller-General, Mr Mohammed Babandede, made the announcement at a news conference on Tuesday in Abuja, NAN reports.
He said Okpu will be replacing Mr Sunday James, who was posted to Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, as comptroller in charge of the command.
Okpu thanked the Controller-General for the appointment and the opportunity given to him to serve the service.
He pledged to discharge his duties diligently while soliciting the support and cooperation of the media to enable him to achieve his mandate.
He also pledged to ensure a cordial working relationship with newsmen.
