TRACKING>>Voters at ward 007, Hamdala Bakery have said that they don’t mind eating their lunch and dinner at the polling unit to ensure that their votes count.
As at the time of writing this report at 8:55 am LEADERSHIP witnessed large turnout of voters.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) presiding officers were yet to arrive.
Voters have described the situation as very unfortunate.
At this unit, you get your name registered from a non INEC official, collect a “number tag” which will use to vote when the official arrive.
Despite the non-presence of INEC official, there are preference for the aged and people living with disabilities (PLWDs). Voters here are organized.
They described the non-arrival of voters material as a means to frustrate them.
A security agent who spoke to our LEADERSHIP on the condition anonymity said that Voting Materials are yet to be disbursed from Karu Local Government, Nasarawa state
