Nigerian Pastor has unable to walk after going on a 21 days dry fasting

Victor Great, Zion Ark of Covenant Int’l Bible Church Inc. head pastor, Delta state, could not walk after a 21-day fasting and prayer.
In a video on the Church’s Facebook page, the cleric was seen being carried from his car to the altar by officials.
He was laid on the ground, surrounded by his congregation, as he delivered prophetic utterances.
On 30 August, in another video posted on the church’s Facebook page, the pastor announced his intentions to embark on a 21-day fast and prayer to, in his own words, “shut the gates of death.”
He declared, “Where I am going, you will not see me anywhere. I will go to the hiding place and cry to God for my people. The gate is already open where I am going. Do you think it is my will? It is an assignment. I came here to defy the gate of death and declare that there are people you will not take under my watch.”
Pastor Victor reassured his congregation that he would stand as their representative before the gate of death, preventing it from claiming any more of his flock.
He said he would represent them before the gate of death and delay the gate of death from swallowing his congregants.
The church said the pastor fasted for 21 days from the 1st to the 21st of September, 2023, without eating food or fruits, nor did he drink water during this period of dry fasting.
Part of a statement released by the church read:
“He endured the pain, discomfort, and battle of this special season of waiting on the lord in fasting to sustain the covenant of LIFE AND IMMORTALITY in the life of the sons and daughters of Zion.
“Our father ‘’PASTOR VICTOR GREAT’’ fasted for 21 days without food, water, fruits, or any substance, based on God’s instruction that he received 16 years ago, and has done this every September since that time.
“The excitement of God’s people filled the auditorium with an overflow in every corner of Zion. Men and women came in their thousands to behold the sacrifice of this great man of God in Warri, Delta state.
“Cases were settled. The sick received healing, and the name of God was exalted because all the glory belonged to him. Our father is back from this journey; We praise God!”
