Nigerians Need Atiku As President in 2023 – Aliyu

By Adeleye Kunle
Former Niger State Governor, Babangida Aliyu, has expressed hope that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, will win the 2023 presidential election.
However, he stated that much work must be done in order for the former vice president to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari when his term expires in 2023.
Nigeria, according to Aliyu, requires Atiku, and he urges Nigerians to vote for the PDP presidential candidate.
He urged Atiku supporters not to be shaken by the crisis surrounding his presidential bid.
The former governor made the remarks during the inauguration of the PDP Ward 2, Ward 2022 National Conference’s Central Planning Committee (CPC) on Tuesday in Abuja.
“I appreciate the W2W for the work you do,” Aliyu said. We are very proud of you for being the party’s grassroots pillar and support group thus far.
“The goal of this campaign is for Atiku to be elected in February of next year.”
“We want Atiku to win, but we have a lot of work to do to make that happen.”
“This country requires Atiku. Deliver the message of hope to your polling places.
“Don’t be bothered by the occasional irritant. Don’t get distracted; instead, stay focused.”
