NNAMDI KANU: IPoB announces a new stay-at-home campaign in South

Ibekimi Oriamaja Reports
Tuesday, September 13, 2022 has been designated as a sit-at-home day by THE Indigenous People of Biafra, IPoB.
The pro-Biafra group claimed that the stay-at-home protest had become necessary as a result of its leader’s recent court appearance in connection with his ongoing dispute with the Nigerian federal government.
In a statement headed “IPoB declares Tuesday, September 13, 2022, sit-at-home,” the Media and Publicity Secretary of the IPoB, Emma Powerful, stated that the entire country of Biafraland would be entirely locked down on that day.
The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) released the following statement: “The global family and movement of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), under the command and leadership of our unwavering liberator Mazi Nnamdi Okwuchukwu Kanu, wish to announce to the general public, especially Biafrans, that Tuesday, September 13th, will be a national holiday in Biafra.”
“The Tuesday 13th September, 2022 civil action is very important for two reasons:
First, the appeal court hearing for our leader, which was originally scheduled for October 11th, has been moved ahead to September 13, 2022.
“As always, we appeal to Biafrans and supporters of liberation to show their support for our leader, who has been imprisoned for more than a year and is currently bearing our yoke. The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) never gave new instructions to Biafrans; instead, they are merely carrying out an existing directive to seize Biafra land. The IPOB leader will soon appear in court in Abuja.
“Based on this understanding with our leader, the IPoB leadership decided to suspend the first Monday sit-at-home rule in August 2021. It is crucial that our people comprehend this, carry on with their regular activities on Monday, and get ready for Tuesday, September 13, 2022, when Biafraland would be totally shut down.
“Second, the leadership of the Indigenous People of Biafra has learned that the Governor Hope Uzodimma-led government of Imo State has chosen to insult the memories of our brave soldiers and of the youths his government has been murdering in tandem with Nigerian terrorists in Army, Police, and DSS uniform by inviting President Muhammadu Buhari to Oweeri, the capital of Imo State, on Tuesday, September 13, 2022, the same day the lone attack took place. What an outrage and insult to the Biafran people and their homeland.
“On Tuesday, September 13, 2022, the whole country of Biafraland will be completely shut down. Buhari cannot visit Imo State while he keeps our leader Mazi Nnamdi in the custody of the DSS.
“Mazi Nnamdi Kanu must be released without conditions because he didn’t break any laws, according to the law. Women’s groups, clergymen and women, traditional leaders, President Geberal, and anyone who might be considering traveling to Owerri on Tuesday, September 13 to participate in the Imo State government’s planned “dance of humiliation” must be warned.
