Nnamdi Kanu: Join Igbo Lawmakers, Seek Political Solution To IPOB Leader’s Issue – Metuh Tells Southeast Govs

A Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Olisa Metuh, has called on Southeast governors to help find a solution to the continued detention of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu.
Recall that Igbo lawmakers in the National Assembly had set up a committee to look into the travails of Nnamdi Kanu and seek a political solution.
Metuh, a former National Publicity Secretary of the PDP, urged Southeast governors to follow the part of Igbo lawmakers.
He said this in a statement on Saturday titled, ‘Metuh Seeks Political Solution on Nnamdi Kanu’s Incarceration…Donates Office’.
Speaking while inaugurating the fully furnished office complex of the Nnewi North Chapter of the PDP on Friday, Metuh urged youths in the region to avoids acts capable of crippling the economy and social life in the southeast.
He said, “I, Chief Olisa Metuh, is here to give my 100 per cent support to the South-East National Assembly Caucus on its initiatives to provide a political solution to the arrest of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and the situations that constitute unrest in South-East Nigeria.
“I call on the South-East governors forum to join in providing political solutions to the plight of Ndi Igbo so as to ensure a peaceful zone for our people.
“Nnamdi Kanu is an Igbo man and our son, He has not stolen before nor has he killed anyone before and hence we must stand for him as our son.”
He further said, “Our Youths must understand that for Ndi Igbo to have achieved what we achieved in South East today, was totally through personal hardwork and contributions of individuals.
“Hence, we must not destroy our own or continue this incessant sit-at home-orders that is crippling our economy and our local enterprises.”
