The Delta State Government has denied reports of any protest against Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, in the state. The government clarified that no such demonstration took place and dismissed the claims as false and misleading.

This statement comes after rumors circulated on social media suggesting that a protest was staged against Mrs. Tinubu during a recent event in Delta State. Some online posts alleged that groups had gathered to express discontent over certain government policies. However, state officials have firmly refuted these claims, stating that there was no evidence of any such protest.

The Delta State Commissioner for Information, Ifeanyi Osuoza, reaffirmed that the state remains peaceful and that no groups or individuals organized a demonstration against the First Lady. He urged the public to disregard any reports suggesting otherwise, emphasizing that misinformation could create unnecessary tension.

As of now, there has been no official response from the First Lady’s office regarding the alleged protest reports. However, her recent engagements have continued without any known disruptions. The Delta State Government has called on citizens to verify information before sharing it to prevent the spread of unfounded claims.
