NRC commences two additional train trips on Abuja-Kaduna route

The Board and Management of the Nigerian Railway Corporation, NRC, have recommended two additional train trips on the Abuja-Kaduna train service.
The NRC management in a statement on Saturday explained that the train service will resume today, Sunday, 4th June 2023.
The NRC assured its passengers of their safety with the implementation of certain measures such as social distancing and regular sanitation, while apologising to its esteemed passengers for any inconvenience they might have experienced as a result of the temporary reduction in train service.
According to the statement, “The Board and Management of Nigerian Railway Corporation, NRC, is pleased to announce the recommencement of two (2) additional train trips on Abuja-Kaduna Train Service which were suspended.”
Tbe statement further explained that the additional train service would resume on Sunday, 4th June, 2023, with the following train trips- AK1 departs IDU at 0945 hrs; KA2 departs RIGASA at 1330 hrs; AK3 departs IDU at 1500 hrs.
The statement stated that from Monday, 5th June, 2023, the schedule would be as follows: KA2 will depart RIGASA at 0800 hrs; AK1 will depart IDU at 0945 hrs; KA4 will depart RIGASA at 1330 hrs; AK3 will depart IDU at 1500 hrs.
The statement said that on Wednesday, only KA2 would depart RIGASA at 0700 hrs and AK3 would depart IDU at 1500 hrs.
The Corporation expressed regret over any inconvenience its passengers may have experienced as a result of the temporary reduction in train service
