NUIS Uniport Visit’s Comr. Sammy George, Chairman IYC Eastern Zone

TRACKING >>Today, the leadership of the National Union Of Izon-Ibe Students in University Of Port Harcourt, visited the chairman of all Ijaw Youths in Eastern Zone which comprises of Abia, Akwa-Ibom and Rivers State respectively.

On arrival the chairman through his chief of staff Comr. Irene Jumbo, welcomed Comr. Donye Vincent and his executives, also formal introduction was made by the National Union Of Izon-Ibe Students as the purpose of the visit is premised on familiarization between the Executives of NUIS Uniport Chapter and IYC Central Zone Chairman.

The President of all Ijaw students in Uniport, Comr. Donye, in his speech applauded the chairman of council in Eastern zone for his show of love and respect to Ijaw Students in the zone, furthermore, the president congratulated the zonal chairman on his recent awards and charged him to do more because there’s more work to be done in Ijaw nation.

In his response, the chairman Eastern zone thanked the President and his entourage for familiarizing with the council and also admonished Ijaw students in Uniport to be serious and dedicated in their academic pursuit as there’s no better way to liberate our people except through intellectual warfare.

In addendum, Comr. Sammy George charged the students to come up with mind blowing programs that will reorient our people and advised them to live exemplary lives as Ijaw nation expects much from them by virtue of their being in school.
