NYCN tasks new Kebbi Governor, Idris on youths inclusiveness

The National Youth Council of Nigeria, NYCN, Kebbi State has called on the new Governor, Nasir Idris to significantly integrate youths in managing the affairs of the state.
The state NYCN Chairman, Ahmed Rufai Khalifah, who made the call in a statement on Monday, charged the new governor and his Deputy, Senator Abubakar Umar to prioritize youth inclusiveness by appointing capable young people to deliver on the policies and promises of the new administration.
Rufai Khalifah also admonished the new administration to provide adequate opportunities for youths across the state to unleash their potential towards the development and advancement of Kebbi State
While applauding the former governor, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu for his giant strides in youth development, the youths council urged the new governor to imbibe the youth-friendly policies in his administration.
“The Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu-led administration has demonstrated a unique connection that offered hope to the youthful population in Kebbi State with its friendly policy and inclusiveness.
“We are confident that the new administration will build more on those achievements to guarantee a more secure and productive environment suitable for the youths to participate in the leadership of Kebbi State and be well productive and profitable for those outside the government.”
Khalifah also congratulated the outgoing governor on the successful transition of the APC administration in the state.
He also congratulated Dr. Idris on his swearing-in as the fifth democratically elected governor of the state, and his deputy, Senator Umar.
The Kebbi NYCN chief further called on them to sustain the legacies of the Bagudu-led administration in youth development.
In the same development, the NYCN Chairman commended Senator Bagudu for the achievements recorded during his administration, especially in youth development.
“We thank His Excellency, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu for his visionary leadership which had impacted positively on the lives of so many youths of Kebbi state. Together with his wife, Dr Zainab Bagudu, the administration created thousands of opportunities which have birthed young entrepreneurs and policymakers in the state. History will forever be kind to them for a successful tenure.”
Similarly, the Kebbi NYCN Chairman congratulated president Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his swearing-in on Monday as President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria
