Obasanjo congratulates Stanel CEO on youth empowerment, investment

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has commended Dr Stanley Uzochukwu, Chairman/CEO of Stanel Group, on youth empowerment and investments in Nigeria.
During a courtesy visit to the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library in Abeokuta, Ogun State’s capital, Obasanjo made the commendation to Uzochukwu and Stanel’s top management team.
According to the former President, youths in any country should be assets when given the right tools and opportunities. However, when the necessities are not provided, they turn into terrible plagues.
He noted that it was prudent to position youths as assets, just as Uzochukwu has become a valuable asset to Nigeria and Africa.
The Stanel CEO and his team briefed the leader on some of the Group’s ongoing projects across the country as a father of the nation.
The former Head of State, pleased with the giant strides, told Uzochukwu, “Those who invest in bad times are actually positioned to prosper in good times.”
“You are addressing a major issue in Nigeria, which is unemployment.” Thank you very much, Dr. Stanley.”
According to reports, Uzochukwu will open a world-class 5-star hotel in the heart of Lagos in the coming weeks.
“Yesterday, we were so honored @stanelworld to be hosted by a transgenerational trailblazer and leader, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo GCFR, the former President of Nigeria at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library in Abeokuta,” Uzochukwu tweeted.
“We briefed him on some of our ongoing projects across the country as a father of the nation, and he was very pleased with what we are doing @stanelworld.”
