Ohanaeze talked about bringing Tinubu, Atiku, and others to “Title, Prayers” in 2023.
Ibekimi Oriamaja Reports
The PDP, Labour Party, and APC presidential candidates Atiku Abubakar, Bola Tinubu, and Peter Obi were invited to give them “special prayers” and “adorn them with titles,” according to the Igbo socio-cultural organisation Ohanaeze, which has distanced itself from the publication.
‘Special prayers’ and ‘title adornment’ were not planned for the 2022 Igbo Day in Abia State, according to the magazine, Dr. Alex Ogbonnia, the national publicity secretary of Ohanaeze, clarified in a statement on Sunday.
The trio would attend the celebration as “special guests,” according to the tale.
It is an unusual political ploy, according to Ohanaeze, to give the three rival presidential aspirants “unique titles” and to do “special prayers for the three presidential candidates.
“This degree of betrayal should never be associated with the Ohanaeze Ndigbo. Igbo stakeholders have harshly criticised the above-mentioned dishonest conduct of a few mischievous Igbo rebels.
The worst recurrence is the satanic lure used by some lazy academics to attract the impostors.
Ohanaeze advised the naïve populace to disregard con artists who exploit the esteemed name of the foremost Igbo socio-cultural institution to promote their own constrained, self-serving, and stomach-inflationary infrastructure.
Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Ogbonnia, Avoids Reckless Behavior
The statement stated, “The three presidential candidates are hereby advised to keep a safe distance from social climbers, tricksters, blatant impostors, and troublemakers.
Sadly, the majority of the fictional Igbo Day participants are still fascinated by the horrible, infamous, ignoble, and repulsive roles they played in the positions they occupied in the top Igbo organization more than ten years ago.
We want the troublemakers to understand once more that Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide represents the history, emotions, collectivity, spirituality, togetherness, and strength of the Igbo nation and that the Igbo owe a strong emotional bond to their preeminent sociocultural organization.
The educated Igbo brains believe that our holy identity should not be compromised because of the whims, caprices, or impulsiveness of the unrepentant blackballs.
