Ologbondiyan: APC Responsible For High Rate Of Abusive Campaigns In 2023
Kola Ologbondiyan, the Atiku-Okowa Campaign Spokesperson, has accused the All Progressives Congress (APC) of being responsible for the country’s high rate of abusive campaigns.
He made the remarks on Thursday in response to the ruling party’s claim that Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) supporters were attacking APC members across the country.
According to Ologbondiyan, the APC campaign is suffering from severe rejection from Nigerians who have completely boycotted their rallies.
He stated that the PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, has led the most decent campaigns and has consistently remained on issues despite the ruling party’s provocation.
The PDP stalwart went on to say that the ruling party and its supporters have continued to target Atiku supporters and campaign council members across the Federation.
He did, however, express disappointment that neither Tinubu nor his Campaign Council have condemned the attacks, and that Tinubu has used every opportunity to attack Atiku’s personality.
“The APC campaign is suffering from severe rejection from Nigerians who have completely boycotted their rallies,” he said.
“It is a huge lie for the APC Campaign to claim that supporters of Atiku Abubakar attacked supporters of other candidates.” In fact, Atiku has run one of the most decent campaigns this election season. Despite the Tinubu Campaign’s provocation, he has consistently remained on issues.
“Atiku’s supporters and campaign, as well as journalists covering these campaigns, have been targeted by the APC and its supporters.” It is disheartening that neither Tinubu nor his Campaign Organization have condemned these attacks; instead, Tinubu takes every opportunity to attack Atiku’s personality.”
