Even though there is an official prize fund, Iyatsere will unquestionably win it because they captured two flags. I am pleased with the exceptional performance of all the teams. Atuwatse, who was astounded by the contestants’ agility, said:
God willing, the following year will be bigger and better, and we’ll develop more games and activities that are fruitful and can sustain entire industries.
The occasion brought the festivities for the monarch’s first anniversary to life and was attended by thousands of Itsekiri residents and well-wishers.
They reassembled later to participate in the Iwere Music Concert at Brown Hill Hall in Ogunu to wrap up the day’s activities.
