OPEN LETTER TO GOVERNOR DOUYE DIRI

His Excellency,
Sen. Douye Diri,
Executive Governor of Bayelsa State,
Creek Haven,
Yenagoa.
Your Excellency Sir,
THE URGENT NEED FOR THE PROSPERITY ADMINISTRATION TO FLUSH OUT ALL THE “BAD EGGS” IN THE SYSTEM.
Sir, let me start by congratulating you and the entire Prosperity Team for displaying capacity in the just concluded National Assembly and State Assembly Elections in Bayelsa State, in which our dear party, the PDP won all the National Assembly seats and at least 70% of the state house of assembly seats.
Let me particularly appreciate all members of the various campaign teams that saw the PDP to Victory in the just concluded National and State Assembly Elections.
However, the main reason for this letter is not exactly as stated in the first two paragraphs, it is rather bent at exposing and rebuking the current threats in the PDP, Bayelsa State, in which those benefitting directly and indirectly from the status quo are seen playing anti-party politics thereby working against the system and the PDP family.
It is no longer a question of who and how as the just concluded State Assembly Elections has exposed the skeletons in different cupboards. For selfish gains and for disloyalty sake, party chieftains have betrayed and bit the finger that feeds them and the Prosperity Administration must not tolerate such political rascality and sabotage.
I am calling on the Diri led Administration to probe the PDP stakeholders in those constituencies in which the party had to lose their seat to the opposition whereas it wasn’t supposed to be so due to the impact of the Administration and Party in the area.
Without delay, I must reiterate that a committee be set up to probe those in questions, alarms have been raised and fingers are pointing at particular directions so it is left the Prosperity Administration to do the needful so that we don’t experience a reoccurrence of such menace in the November Gubernatorial Elections in the State.
Your Excellency Sir, all is not well, one who’s house is on fire doesn’t chase rats. We can’t be comfortable having such number of opposition in the State House of Assembly as this may go a long way to truncating the good policies of your government.
You have bad eggs around and within the Prosperity Administration, you have moles from the other sides and it is very dangerous because these are the worst set of enemies; enemies within.
Dear Miracle Governor, the time is now to act, before the pile of cards is cut from the bottom. The warning signs are quite alarming and we must wake up from our tipsy mood to take actions on setting pressing issues that may attract chaos, discontent, disgruntling and catastrophe.
I keep forward to hearing from you even as you peruse and decipher this piece….
My regards
Hon. Ogidi Ben Bara (OBB)
