Bisi Kolawole, the Peoples Democratic Party’s governorship candidate in Ekiti State, congratulated Ademola Adeleke, the party’s candidate in Osun State, on his victory in the 16th July Governorship election on Sunday.
Gboyega Oyetola, the incumbent governor of the state and the All Progressives Congress governorship candidate, was defeated, according to Track News.

The incumbent governor of the state, who was defeated in the election, received 375,027 votes, while Adeleke received 403,371 votes.

In a message made available to our platform, Kolawole congratulated Adeleke on his courage during the governorship election.

He went on to say that the PDP’s governorship candidate in Osun State inspired the party to reclaim the mandate it had lost in 2018.

According to the statement, “I write on behalf of myself and the Peoples Democratic Party in Ekiti State to express our heartfelt congratulations to you, your deputy, and the good people of Osun State on your resounding victory in the July 16 governorship election. Congratulations on the new beginning in Osun.

“My brother, I admire your tenacity and bravery. I applaud your perseverance and fortitude in the face of adversity. You led our party to reclaim its stolen mandate in the previous Osun election in 2018. True, if falsehood travels for twenty years, truth will eventually overtake it.

“There is no doubt that this victory will put an end to the All Progressive Congress’ misgovernance, incompetence, and blatant opportunism in Osun State and throughout Nigeria.

“You have reopened doors for our people to pursue their happiness in an environment of peace, liberty, and orderliness, thereby courting the blessings of prosperity and happiness that our Party guarantees.

“Once again, the people of Ekiti and I share the joy of this historic victory with you and our people in Osun, as we eagerly await the resumption of central government in February. It is finalized.”
