Pastor Ibiyeomie corrects one of his pastors who said love can fade in marriage
Marriage is an institution set up by God. However, one of the things required to sustain a marriage is love. The Holy Bible admonished husbands to love their wives and in return, wives should obey and submit to their husbands if they want to live happily and joyfully.
The founder of Salvation Ministries, Pastor David Ibiyeomie, was during the ‘Time Out With Jesus’ corrected one of the leaders of his Church who said love can fade after a while in marriage.
While answering a question from a member of the Church, one of the leader said one the reason a man can stop loving his wife is because the love he had for the wife “faded away” from how he used to love her at the early stage of their marriage.
Pastor Ibiyeomie in response said “God is love and He cannot change.” He stated that many people think that love can fade because they don’t have the real revelation of love and how it works. Pastor Ibiyeomie advised that young people to diligently seek for the real love before embarking on relationship to avoid making mistakes in their union.
In the Evening Service streamed online the official page of Pastor Ibiyeomie on Sunday evening, the General Overseer of Salvation Ministries corrected one his Pastors by saying people should stop saying that can love fade because God cannot in anyway change and “God is love.”
He also clarified that what some people practice is ‘Like’ and not ‘love’. According to him, LOVE is deeper than some people imagine.
