Paul Scholes names Manchester United’s best player this season in Premier League.
Paul Scholes, a Manchester United legend, has named forward Marcus Rashford the club’s best player so far this season.
Scholes made the remarks following England’s 3-0 World Cup victory over Wales on Tuesday.
He believes the 25-year-old is extremely dangerous this season.
Rashford’s outstanding performance for England ensured that the Three Lions qualified for the knockout stages as Group B winners.
Scholes singled out Rashford as the club’s top performer this season on Manchester United’s weekly show, The Debate.
“I’ll go with Marcus [Rashford],” Scholes said when asked who Man United’s best player has been so far this season.
“I believe he has turned things around. He’s had a difficult 18 months, but I believe he’ll be very dangerous this season.
“With the minutes he’s played, hopefully he’s carried it on a little bit with England as well.”
“Hopefully, he can come back and finish the season strong as well.”
