The leadership of the Taraba State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) said it will soon commence moves to reconcile all the aggrieved members of the party within the state.

The newly-elected state chairman of the party, Alhaji Abubakar Bawa stated this on Friday in an interview with journalists in Jalingo, shortly after he was given the nod to be presiding over the affairs of the party in the state.

The development, according to him, is part of the Party’s effort to strengthen and reunite all the aggrieved members of the party across the state.

He said “We are going to start reconciliation in the party across the board. We will ensure that we reach out to all members who are aggrieved as a result of the outcome of the elections so that they will come back and join us to work as a team.”

“PDP as a party has not failed Taraba State and that is why we have been sustaining victory. It is our belief that as a ruling party in the state, we will do it again as we have been doing in the previous terms”.

Aligning his weight to that of the Party chairman, the Vice Chairman PDP North-East, Emmanuel Bovoa, believed that the reconciliation process, if achieved, would further strengthen PDP in the state
