PDP screens 10 Anambra governorship aspirants
The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Screening Committee for the Anambra governorship election on Monday interviewed 10 of the 16 aspirants.
They were Sen. Uche Ekwunife, Obiora Okonkwo, Chris Azugbogu, Winston Udeh and Valentine Ozigbo.
Others are Chidi Onyemelukwe, Ifedi Okwenna, Tony Nwoye, Walter Okeke and Godwin Ezeemo.
The remaining aspirants will be screened on Tuesday according to the party.
The Anambra polls are to be held in November.
Ali Odefa, PDP National Vice Chairman (South East) had advised the aspirants to approach the grassroots for support.
The chieftain told them that delegates, not party leaders, will decide the flagbearer.
