Peter Obi is working extremely hard, and I think the tribunal will rule in his favor in his lawsuit against BAT. Amucheazi
Professor Elochukwu Amucheazi, the Pioneer Director-General of the National Orientation Agency (NOA), has voiced his displeasure with Prof. Mahmood Yakubu’s leadership of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) during the performance of the 2023 general election.
The candidate for the Labour Party, Peter Obi, has a good chance of winning in the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal (PEPT), in his opinion.
Amucheazi discussed the All Progressives Congress (APC) response to the prospective overturning of Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s victory and highlighted Peter Obi’s dogged pursuit of success before the Tribunal. Amucheazi claims that the APC’s response shows their fear of failing and willingness to engage in combat.
Amucheazi expressed his opinion that Bola Ahmed Tinubu shouldn’t have been inaugurated in as president until the petitions filed against him were settled. He praised Obi’s tenacity and forward-thinking attitude, which he thinks would be crucial in the Tribunal hearings.
He (Obi) is working hard, and in his words, “I think he may win. If you look at Olanipekun’s arguments, who said that there would be pandemonium if Tinubu were to be declared ineligible because he didn’t receive 25% in the FCT, he is conceding that they might do that. There are both the army and the police. What sort of uncertainty is that? Why did you swear Tinubu in when everything is still unclear? Peter is a progressive, open-minded person who is determined.
Amucheazi presented his thoughts on the first two months of President Tinubu’s administration, observing that the strategy seemed to be hostile to the Igbo people, similar to that of the former President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration. Additionally, he expressed skepticism regarding the administration’s proposed palliative package for the country’s poor Nigerians as a result of the elimination of fuel subsidies, particularly with regard to the Igbo population
