Peter Obi will spend Christmas with Kogi IDPs.
Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), says he will spend Christmas at IDP camps in Idah and Ibaji, Kogi State.
This was contained in a statement signed by Ahmed Mohammed, the party’s Kogi State chairman, and made available to journalists in Lokoja on Friday by the state publicity secretary, Idakwo Emmanuel.
Obi will attend the celebration with other Catholics from Kogi State, according to the LP chairman.
“In the spirit of the joyful season, His Excellency, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Mr Peter Gregory Obi, will be celebrating Christmas day, December 25 with less privileged living in IDP camps around Idah and Ibaji areas,” the statement said in part.
He also urged all patriots to remain motivated as the party works to create a new Nigeria that everyone can be proud of.
