Pirates attack vessel in Bayelsa

Reports indicate that pirates have attacked a vessel in Brass, Bayelsa State, Nigeria.
The vessel, boarded in 03 11 41 N, 007 49 02 E, approximately 115 NM SE of Brass, was attacked on Monday December 13 around 2.30pm.
This comes exactly one week after pirates kidnapped one NSCDC personnel and four civilians attached to the kitchen contractor working with Conoil Plc located in Koluama 1 of Southern Ijaw Local Government Area of Bayelsa state.
On November 29, Eons Intelligence reported that pirates attacked two vessels in Baylesa, kidnapping not less than seven oil workers and shooting two staff of the Nigerian Agip Oil Company and a personnel of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps dead.
The incidents occurred around 5.30am on Sunday November 28 in Okoroma and Ogbokiri-Akassa communities of Nembe and Brass LGAs.
