Machete-wielding hoodlums yesterday attacked a commercial motorcyclist in the Emeyal 2 area of Ogbia council of Bayelsa State.
The bike man, Goodnews Okrinya, popularly known as J-Martin, sustained deep cuts in the neck and died immediately.
The hoodlums were said to have dumped his body at Bakery area of Imiringi community.
The assailants took away his motorcycle.
Chairman of Ogbia council Dr. Ebinyo Marvin Turner, in a statement yesterday, described the killing as senseless, barbaric, unacceptable and unbecoming.
He called on the security agencies to apprehend the killers.
Ogbia “will not and cannot be a den of criminals,” he said.
