Politics in Nigeria not for faint hearted – Davido

Afrobeats superstar, Davido has expressed his preparedness for yheOsun gubernatorial election scheduled for July.
He declared politics in Nigeria is only for the brave-hearted, adding, he was ready to hit the road for campaign.
“Nigerian politics is not for the faint hearted …. FIELD READY.”
Davido, who hails from Osun State, has continued to show massive support for his uncle, Ademola Aeleke’s gubernatorial ambition under the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
In March, the DMW boss stressing on his support for his uncle’s ambition explained he was ‘fighting for his State and for his blood.’
“I’m fighting for my state and my blood! You’re fighting for someone who doesn’t care about you and will probably even regard me before you.”
Davido’s response was elicited after a tweep, @lexxy4real asked why his uncle didn’t contest for governorship in Atlanta instead of Nigeria.
“Same naija wey your uncle dey contest election? Why can’t he contest as the governor of Atlanta since he is a citizen there? Why Naija wey don cast?”, he tweeted.
Lexxy4real’s tweet arose following Davido’s complaint over the state of the country.
