10th NASS: Rt. Hons. Obordor & Ambaiowei Receive Members of the PDP State Working Committee.

The Honourable members representing Ogbia and Southern Ijaw Federal Constituencies, Chief Mitema Obordor and Engr. Rodney Ambaiowei today received in audience members of the Peoples Democratic Party State Working Committee following the successful inauguration of the 10th National Assembly in Abuja. The visit is being undertaken to congratulate and rejoice with our representatives elected on the platform of the PDP.

In his address at the reception venues, Hon. Solomon Agwana, State Chairman of PDP represented by Hon. Gesiye Isowo, PDP State Secretary congratulated both Engr. Rodney and Chief Mitema Obordor for their well deserved victories and subsequent swearing-in into office. The State Scribe used the opportunity to remind the duo about the revolutionary work going on in the state and the need for these projects to be executed to a logical conclusion. He urged the two National Assembly lawmakers to continue to partner with the State Chief Executive to bring about the much needed development of our dear State.

The Party Secretary further called on the Lawmakers to take up frontline role in mobilising support for the Governor’s re-election bid. Hon. Isowo remarked that the Party Exco intends to maintain a close working relationship to ensure that the interests and welfare needs of Party members is best served.

Responding, Engr. Rodney Ambaiowei and Chief Obordor thanked PDP for the opportunity given to them to fly the Party’s ticket; they equally promised to work closely with Party leadership to bring about more dividend of democracy for our people. The two Lawmakers gave an assurance to be at the forefront to canvass for votes for the Governor’s re-election project come November 11th 2023 stating that the victory of Senator Douye Diri is a done deal as it is sacrosanct.
