2023: Kwankwaso Not ‘Fronting for Tinubu’ – Spokesperson Quashes
Mohammed O. Taoheed reports,
The Campaign Spokesperson of the New Nigerian People Party (NNPP) presidential candidate for the 2023 election, Sen. Rabiu Kwankwaso, Abdulmumin Jibrin, has debunked various speculations that his master is fronting for Bola Tinubu, his counterpart in the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Track News Nigeria covers that Kwankwaso, a former governor of Kano State, has his laid his legs firmly on emerging as the winner of the 2023 general election and will never step down for anyone or work secretly for any presidential candidate as said by Jibrin.
“I have heard that rumour everywhere, but I think it is part of the political game by the opposition to de-market us,” Jibrin said in an interview on Channels TV’s Politics Today on Thursday night, monitored by this newspaper.
“Let me say authoritatively that Kwankwaso is not working for anyone.
“And we want to tell our followers to disregard such information flying around. We are not stepping down for anybody, we are in this election to win, and we are going full stretch.”
