2027: Akpabio Plots Presidential Ambition with El-Rufai as Running Mate
Campaign posters announcing Senate President Godswill Akpabio’s presidential ambition have surfaced in parts of Kaduna, showcasing former Kaduna Governor Nasir El-Rufai as his running mate.

Despite Akpabio’s public denials of any presidential aspirations, insiders close to him suggest otherwise. They claim that Akpabio is strategically preparing for the possibility that President Bola Tinubu may not be able to continue in office due to health concerns.
Akpabio believes that his current political position as the Senate President, the third-highest rank in the political hierarchy, provides him with a significant advantage over other potential candidates.
