Adeyanju: Peter Obi won’t win more than half of any Nasarawa LGAs notwithstanding the One-Million March.
Ibekimi Oriamaja Reports
According to Deji Adeyanju, the convener of Concerned Nigerians, Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s (LP) presidential candidate, won’t win more than half of any local government area in Nasarawa State.
The activist said this in response to the one million-man march by Nasarawa residents in support of Obi ahead of the 2023 presidential election.
56 support groups from 13 Local Government Areas of Nasarawa State staged a million-person march in favor of Obi on Saturday, August 7, according to Track News.
The group, carrying various signs expressing their admiration and support for the former governor of Anambra, marched from the College of Agriculture junction along Jos Road to the U-turn connecting Lafia main market along Makurdi Road.
In response to the fervent backing for the LP candidate, Deji Adeyanju insisted that the crowd was paid and asserted that Obi would not get 50% of the votes from any LGA in Nassarawa.
I’m sorry to break your hearts, but in light of yesterday’s rally in Nasarawa, Peter Obi will not still be able to capture even a quarter of an LGA.
You’ll be shocked to find that 90% of people who participated in yesterday’s protest did so after accepting cash, and they won’t support him in the election. Vawulence collapsed; farewell.
