APC Forum Seeks Support Against Ganduje

The North Central Forum of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has called on professional bodies from the region including lawyers, Civil Society Organisations and journalists among others to join hands in the push to oust the APC national chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje.
Speaking with newsmen in Jos, the forum’s chairman, Alhaji Saleh Mandung Zazzaga, said the position Ganduje is occupying is for the North Central region according to party arrangements, and it is someone from Nassarawa State or the region that is supposed to replace the former chairman, Abdullahi Adamu and not Ganduje who is from the North West.
He said several votes of no confidence had been passed on Ganduje from his Kano ward as well as other litigations, of which the North Central APC Forum had been in the lead.

The chairman said all they were doing is in the interest of the North Central region, and that is why they are calling on professional bodies from the region to join hands with them, noting that they had pursued other good causes in other parties as well as those that are apolitical, which are for the betterment of the region.
He said anywhere they observe that the North Central region would be relegated to the background, shortchanged or cheated, they had always risen in its defence and advanced its causes, and so all people of North Central, irrespective of political, professional, ethno-religious and other afflictions should join hands with the forum to push for the ouster of Ganduje so that a rightful person from the region can occupy the seat.
Zazzaga who was also a member of the Presidential Campaign Council in the last election said the hearing of suit filed against Ganduje by the forum is coming up on May 30, and all should support the forum for victory.
