BAYELSA AT 28TH: PYC Celebrate Gov. Diri Deputy Lawrence For Inspiring Peace And Development in Bayelsa State

Bayelsa Youths under the aegis of the Prosperity Youths Coalition led by the Director General Snr-Comr. Doubara Kumokou gather across Yenagoa the Bayelsa State Capital to celebrate the 28th year anniversary of the creation of Bayelsa State.

The convergence as reported by participants is a coalition of different youths groups who come together to appreciate the achievements of the Prosperity administration ably led by His Excellency Sen. Douye Diri and his loyal, workaholic and dependable Deputy Sen. Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo, for bringing about peace and security across all parts of the states, especially within the Yenagoa metropolis.

Deliverying the message of the Youths the Chief Scribe of the PYC Barr. Ayebakuro Igbeta expressed the resolve of Bayelsa youths to support the duo of Douye and Lawrence to ensure the administration finish strong and consolidates on its agenda of prospering all Bayelsans. Igbeta also thanked the governor and his team for working round the clock to bringing about mind boggling infrastructural development and human capacity development to Bayelsans. The PYC bragged that while there is no denying the hardship sweeping across Nigeria, the government of Douye Diri has been sensitive and responsive to the plights of Bayelsans by managing her resources judiciously.

Speaking further, the Chief Lucky Asanakpo, the Chairman of the Bayelsa Sate Volunteers stated that Bayelsa may not be where they ought to be, but through the relentless efforts of the Prosperity administration the state is far better than where it was and expressed the sincere appreciation of the youths for the governor’s thoughtfulness and sincerity in youths matters, particularly the direct engagent of massive number of youths in the State Executive Council and other viable political offices.

Concluding the youths address, Hon. Doubiye Alagba, the Chairman of the Bayelsa Vigilante Services emphasized that prior to this time Yenagoa the State Capital was gradually been turned into a den and haven of criminals and busy intersections like the Tombia/Etegwe round-about were visibly earmarked as frightening no go areas, but with the Douye Diri intervention such notoriously busy parts have now become symbolic locations of the Prosperity transformational agenda.

The Bayelsa Youths who were gather in three seperate sections across Ekeki park, Opolo Market axis and the Tombia round-about said they came out on this independence day to stand and March in solidarity with the governor who has done so much in affirmation of his youth empowerment and capacity development drive.
