BYSHA ADJOURNS SINE DIE, CONCLUDES FIRST SESSION

The 7th Bayelsa State House of Assembly adjourned sine die, concluding its inaugural session on a positive note.

Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt. Honourable (Esteemed High Chief) Abraham Ingobere expressed appreciation for the collaborative efforts of the leadership, members, Clerk, and staff in achieving significant milestones during the session.

Rt. Hon. Ingobere commended the legislative body for enacting eight people-centric bills, including the 2024 Budget Appreciation law, and for proposing impactful resolutions.

He also assured of the Assembly’s unwavering support for Governor Douye Diri in executing projects aimed at enhancing human capital and infrastructural development within the state.

Acknowledging the Speaker’s adept leadership, honorable members attributed the session’s smooth proceedings to divine guidance and expressed gratitude to their constituents for the opportunity to serve.
