Edo Guber: Otti Galvanized Support For Akpata

Abia State Governor Alex Otti has told Labour Party (LP) supporters to vote for the party’s candidate for the September 21 Edo State governorship election Olumide Akpata and protect their votes. Otti made the appeal during a visit to mobilize support for Akpata, particularly in the Igbo community.
He said the election is very key to the people, adding; “We must ensure that our votes are guarded jealously. “We may not have the guns and ammunition to win the election, but we have the people to deliver our choice candidate for the people of the state.”
Otti emphasized the importance of voting and being vigilant to prevent vote manipulation. He encouraged the party faithful to ensure their votes count and secure victory for Akpata.
The governor said: “I have come to appeal to you. “You are all our people. I told Olumide that there is no need to preach to the converted.
“We have converted you already and it is now time for us to go and convert others. “This is an election; it is an election that will make a difference in Edo state. It is an election for the people.”
