Elections: Litigations may lead to ‘judiciary-declared’ governors, legislators – CCD
The Centre for Democracy and Development (CDD) has said that Saturday’s governorship and state assembly elections were characterised by vote buying, violence and intimidation.
CDD Election Analysis Centre (EAC), CDD-EAC disclosed this on Monday in its post-election press conference in Abuja.
The organisation expressed concern that post-election litigations may lead to judicially declared poll winners.
CDD said it deployed 1, 200 observers to keep a close watch on the process and has provided insights deduced from the treasure trove of data it collected during the polls
