JUST-IN: Tinubu signs national students loan amendment bill into law

President Bola Tinubu has signed the National Students Loan Amendment bill into law, according to reports from the NTA on Wednesday.
TrackNews Online further details that Tinubu initially signed the student loan bill into law back in June 2023, with the aim of offering financial assistance to Nigerian students in tertiary institutions.

While the bill was signed earlier, its implementation has faced delays due to various issues hindering its rollout.
Notably, there were major amendments made to the repeal and reenactment bill before Tinubu gave his official endorsement by signing it into law.
