The Spokesperson of the Obi/Datti Campaign Organization, Professor Chris Nwaokobia has compared the emergence of the Labour Party Presidential candidate, Peter Obi to the gigantic rise of one of Nigeria’s greatest politicians, Moshood Kashimawo Olawale Abiola. He stated categorically that Peter Obi is the greatest merchant of hope for Nigeria after M.K.O Abiola. Although a lot of people wouldn’t agree with him but he argued that the recent happenings in the Nation after the election has proved that Nigerians are dissatisfied with the results announced by INEC.

Professor Chris claimed that the reality of what had happened in the election is the reason why they have faced so many adversaries in the last couple of weeks. According to him, the recent resurgence of Banditry across the country is not a coincidence. He alleged that the hope of Nigeria appeared to have been allegedly crushed at the polls by electoral officials. If you would recall yesterday in a report being made by Channels Tv, 60 people were allegedly being abducted by Bandits in communities in Zamfara and Kaduna

He said, ”About seven days ago, there was a sudden resurgence of Bandits across the country. It was in Bayelsa, Kastina, Kaduna, Kogi and Zamfara. And you wonder what happened, was it the election that kept it down? The simple thing is that the Labour Party presented the greatest merchant of hope in our history after Moshood Abiola.

The Labour Party presented the greatest merchant of hope in Africa after Mandela. So Nigerians were waiting at different positions to see whether this hope can transform their lives. When those who are professionals took the mandate, they are becoming restless again. And I challenge the DSS to find out why there is a Sudden resurgence of Banditry across the country. The holy book says a hope deterred makes the heart weary. Nigerians are getting frustrated by the day.”
