By Vincent Ujumadu Awka—Ichie Damian Okeke-Ogene, Vice President-General of the apex Igbo socio-cultural organization, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, has described the All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu’s decision to pick a fellow Muslim as his Vice Presidential candidate for the 2023 election as a serious threat to Nigeria’s unity and corporate existence.

Okeke-Ogene, speaking to reporters in Awka, told the APC presidential candidate that it is not too late to correct the error because he can change his running mate before the deadline.

Okeke-Ogene praised the Pan Yoruba socio-political organization’s leadership, Ayo Adebanjo, and the convener of the Pan Niger Delta Forum and Ijaw leader, Edwin Clark, for remaining vocal and speaking out on issues affecting Nigerians, noting that South-West and South-South socio-cultural organizations have been consistent in pointing out the injustice meted out to the South-East zone and have been supporting agitations for equity, fairness, and
