Nigerians Will Appreciate Tinubu and Shettima Together, Says Yahaya Bello

The All Progressives Congress (APCsame-faith )’s presidential ticket has been backed by Governor Yahaya Bello, who is confident that Nigerians will support the team of Bola Tinubu and Kashim Shettima.
The Kogi State governor’s remark came after the party’s announcement of Shettima, a former Borno State governor and a Muslim, as Tinubu’s running mate for the 2023 elections.
On Channels Television’s Sunrise Daily on Friday, he stated, “Nigerian politicians should be more mature; we should take politics out of it.”
The pairing of Senator Ahmed Bola Tinubu and His Excellency Shettima is ideal. You will be able to tell when you speak with these folks one-on-one that we are coming up with a solution that, for the most part, Nigerians would approve of.
The former APC presidential candidate claimed that despite the controversy surrounding the party’s nominee, Tinubu and Shettima represent a “total change from what is now taking place.”
Who told you that it cannot be Christian-Christian tomorrow? he chided those who were critical of the party’s same-faith ticket.
