Obi-Datti begins door-to-door, markets campaign, says Coordinator
Agency Report
The Coordinator of Peter Obi and Yusuf Datti Presidential Campaign Council in Anambra State, Chief Joemartins Uzodike, yesterday urged all the support groups of the Labour Party (LP) to begin door-to-door and market campaign for the party’s presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi.
Uzodike gave the advice when he hosted members of Associates of Peter Obi (APO), a political pressure group, in his Awka-Etiti country home in Idemili South Local Government Area of Anambra State.
APO is the umbrella of members of different political parties supporting Peter Obi and Yusuf Datti as next president and vice president of Nigeria in 2023.
Uzodike, a former Commissioner for Information in Anambra State and long-standing political associate of Mr. Obi, said the council adopted the door-to-door and market campaign strategy for effective result.
The coordinator said it was through inter-personal communication that majority of Nigerians would understand Obi’s good plans.
He said the Obi-Datti project looked divine due to the large support it was getting across the country.
“Peter Obi’s growing popularity is not because he talks better or behaves better than others, but because God is at the centre of the project and directing every other thing according to His will,” Uzodike said.
