**THE Technical Assistant On General Duties To Governor Douye Diri, Affirms That Diri Remains Focused To Develop Bayelsa

The Technical assistant on general duties to Governor Douye Diri Ogidi Ben Bara has debunked the misleading and fake news parading the social media and some unidentified blogs sponsored by the opposition party in the state, the all progressives Congress APC. That Bayelsa state Government under the leadership of Douye Diri earmarked the sum of N700 million to purchase 50 torches and 100 walkie-talkies for personnel of local vigilante group known as Bayelsa Community Safety Crops also the allocation of 4.6 billion naira to purchase 20 Hilux and SUVs and another 1.2 billion naira for government printing machines.

Mr. Ogidi Ben Bara who was surprised at the failed propaganda move sponsored by some bitter and failed politicians of the All progressives Congress APC in the state, described the fake news as a beer parlour Generated one calling on the good people of Bayelsa to keep faith with the miracle Governor who has shown conmitment to human capital, infrastructural and economic development of the state.

According to Ogidi Ben Bara, currently In Bayelsa State, there is a huge paradigm shift in entrenching transparency and good governance since Senator Douye Diri took over as governor. The transparency indicators in terms of budgetary discipline, setting priorities right in project execution and putting in place institutional frameworks are some of the selling points which informed his re-election for a second tenure as governor. Those who have followed the Diri administration, known as the “Prosperity Government” with keen interest, would appreciate the fact that he has developed a model in confronting the developmental challenges of the state.

Against this backdrop, the Technical assistant on General Duties Ogidi Ben Bara explains that himself and other young Bayelsans will be visiting various projects sites being constructed by the prosperity led administration of Senator Douye Diri.
