Osun 2022: Lasun Yusuf Joins Labour Party
A former Deputy Speaker of the Representatives, Lasun Yusuf has joined the Labour Party ahead of the Osun State Governorship election.
Yusuf might contest on the platform of the Labour Party if given the mandate by the party in the forthcoming electoral process.
Recall that Yusuf recently dumped the All Progressives Congress after losing out in the party’s primary election.
The former deputy speaker in the governorship primary election came third behind Moshood Adeoti and the eventual winner, the state Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola.
Yusuf in his stand to dump the ruling party had submitted his resignation letter on Friday, March 25, 2022, at the Osun APC Secretariat in Osogbo.
He would be hoping to contest against the seating Governor, Oyetola, the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Ademola Adeleke and other governorship candidates in the election.
