PDP dodged a bullet in Wike, says Reno Omokri
Adeleye Kunle
A former presidential aide, Reno Omokri, has said the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) dodged a bullet by not selecting Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike as running mate to Atiku Abubakar.
Following former president Olusegun Obasanjo’s endorsement of Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi, the governor had scathing words for Atiku, who served as Vice President under Obasanjo between 1999 and 2007.
Wike said there was “something fundamentally wrong” with Atiku if his former boss could not endorse him.
Omokri described Wike as an uncultured fellow.
In a tweet thread, Omokri said: “The truth is that in not electing Wike, the PDP dodged a bullet.
“The fellow may be powerful, for now, but he is uncouth and uncultured, and literally ANYTHING can come out of his mouth.”
