Reason why Wike Didn’t Attend the 2023 Osun PDP Rally
Ibekimi Oriamaja Reports.
More information about River Governor Nyesom Wike’s absence from a Peoples Democratic Party, PDP rally in Osun State has emerged.
Wike reportedly did not attend the event due to a feud with the party’s presidential candidate for 2023, Atiku Abubakar.
However, Chief Ogbonna Nwuke, a PDP stalwart and former House of Representatives member, revealed that the governor may have decided to skip the Osun rally due to unresolved party issues.
“The truth is that you know there are unresolved issues in the PDP,” Nwuke said. Wike clearly enjoys his parties, but don’t expect him to show up when the weather is bad.”
Wike had not yet returned from a trip abroad, according to another reliable source.
“You know that if Governor Wike is in Nigeria, everyone will know,” he said, but he has yet to return to the country after attending his son’s graduation ceremony in the United Kingdom last week.”
