REFUTAL: Mitin Family Distance Self From APC Suspension Of Heineken Lokpobiri, Others.

The attention of Chief Mitin Tamaramieyefa’s family of Toru-Ndoro Community Ekeremor Local Government Area Bayelsa State, has been drawn to the suspension of Senator Heineken Lokpobiri PhD, the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources from the All Progressives Congress by Mr. Eniekenemi Mitin, the APC Chairman in Ekeremor LGA, Bayelsa State.

The well respected and responsible family notes with deep regret that they acknowledge the actions taken by Mr. Eniekenemi Mitin, a son of Chief Mitin Tamaramieyefa, who has brought disrespect and disrepute to the family making it the center of Negative attraction for now.

A statement signed by Hon. Living E. Mitin Member Representing Ekeremor Constituency II, Bayelsa State House of Assembly read,
“We regrettably informs the general public that Mr. Eniekenemi Mitin is currently battling with addiction to illicit substances and is suffering from mental illness. As a result, his purported suspension of Senator Heineken Lokpobiri PhD and others has caused significant public shame and ridicule to Chief Mitin Tamaramieyefa’s family”.

“We, the family of Chief Mitin Tamaramieyefa, sincerely apologize to Senator Heineken Lokpobiri PhD and all those affected by the unwarranted actions of Mr. Eniekenemi Mitin. We urge the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources and the general public to disregard Mr. Eniekenemi Mitin’s press release and actions, as they do not represent the views or values of Chief Mitin Tamaramieyefa’s family”.

The lawmaker, Hon. living Mitin further requested the understanding and forgiveness of all parties involved, while acknowledging that the family is taking necessary steps to address the situation and getting Mr. Eniekenemi Mitin the help he needs for his mental health and substance abuse challenges.

The family of Chief Mitin Tamaramieyefa’s further employs the General public to treat Mr. Eniekenimi Mitin as a mentally unstable fellow, and desist from any form of meaningful engagement with him, as it will only bring disgrace and might spark crisis in the society.
