Senator Ahmed Bola Tinubu, the presidential flagbearer of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has stated that he would not have become the candidate without the diligence of the party governors.

“You firmly stood by me during our Party’s Primary Contests and that made me the APC Candidate and that is a great source of pride because others are still battling their governors,” he said.

During a series of meetings with Ullamas and pastors, Tinubu insisted that the governors’ position on him has given him more courage and determination to run for the highest office.

The APC presidential candidate, who slammed the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for failing to recognize that power is the main driver of the nation’s economy after 16 years in power, now has nothing new to offer.

“The PDP has spent 16 years ruling the nation but has failed miserably to understand that power is the main economic driver without which one will be running a borrowed economy with no impact on his citizens,” he said.

Tinubu reminded the PDP that, despite spending $16 billion on power over the last 16 years, the country still suffers from frequent outages and transmission failures.

Tinubu also urged Nigerians not to vote for someone who will give them 50% of their attention and the rest to Dubai.
